Hemp is different from Marijuana - Understanding the Difference

Difference between hemp and marijuana

Although hemp and marijuana plants are from the same species, they have different legal implications. Hemp refers to the product developed from the plant with a regulated amount of THC (0.3%) or less. While marijuana plant refers to the raw plant with a non-regulated amount of cannabinoids and THC.

THC is the psychoactive component responsible for producing the high from the consumption of marijuana. People abuse its use on various occasions. Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) is basically the active psychoactive cannabinoid extracted from the cannabis (marijuana) plant.

However, hemp refers to the same plant product but with a permitted amount of THC which is 0.3% in it. With THC less than 0.3%, hemp cannot be abused for producing high and is largely used for developing medicinal products. These are non-psychoactive cigarettes and permitted for use by the government of India.

For example, hemp powder is a good source of vegan protein, hemp oil is used for massage for pain relief from arthritis, and more. At the Trost, we are a certified supplier of hemp based products in India. We specialize in hemp cigarettes, hemp powder, hemp oil and various other useful products.

Our hemp cigarettes are focused on helping people suffering from nicotine, alcohol, and drug addiction. If you have permission from a physician, you can easily order hemp cigarettes to ditch nicotine and other substance abuse.

4 Benefits of Using Hemp Cigarettes for Quitting Smoking

Hemp Herbal Cigarette

1) Assist in Curbing Tobacco Smoking

Many people fail in their quest of ditching nicotine. Trying to quit smoking via CBD cigarettes improves the chances of success relatively. This is because passive elements used in the journey of quitting cigarettes like nicotine gums and patches aren't always strong enough. In contrast, when smokers use CBD cigarettes moderately on the recommendation of a trained physician, it's easier to see visible results.

2) Hemp Cigarettes Produces the Feel of Normal Cigarettes

People trying to quit cigarettes have various psychological factors involved too. CBD cigarettes appear like normal cigarettes, they can be used to produce the feel of traditional cigarettes. For example, smokers can hold cigarettes like sticks between their fingers and lips, light them and use them for smoking.  This helps to cope up with the psychological habit trained to the mind.

3) Combating Tobacco Withdrawal Symptoms

The nicotine present in the traditional cigarettes is extremely addictive. People indulging in various kinds of drugs compare it to cocaine, heroin, etc. So, quitting smoking involves going through intense withdrawal symptoms like insomnia, anxiety, stress, headaches, depression, etc. The hemp based cigarettes tend to combat these symptoms effectively. So it eases the journey of the smokers trying to quit smoking.

4) Combats Anxiety

Serotonin and dopamine are the two main hormones released by the central nervous system in the human body responsible for producing the sensation of calmness. For example, people feel good after an intense regular workout  which is basically possible because the body releases these two hormones.

Smokers on the other hand become gradually dependent upon nicotine from the cigarettes to feel good. Nicotine prevents the production and release of these neurotransmitters from the central nervous system. People who indulge in smoking feel calm because their  endocannabinoid receptors are changed to respond to nicotine.

So once you start trying to ditch cigarettes you may feel greater urge or mostly low in life. This is basically the withdrawal symptom of nicotine. CBD cigarettes are viable in restoring the balance of the neurotransmitters and help you avoid relapse.

    Hi,
I recently ordered boom… no doubt i have shifted to the hemp cigarette and my nicotine intake has drastically come down..I had few doubts

    1) hemp and Marijuana in India is still considered as same and when i smoke people tend to mistake it as Marijuana…what if I get caught smoking this in public .. what can i show them which is enough to prove this is legal

    2) I need a doctor prescription I haven’t got that … is it necessary to have one ?
rounakvjain83@gmail.com was the email from which I have ordered

    3) are these cigarettes addictive ?

Just had these general doubt which as a consumer just popped up.
You guys are doing excellent work

    Thank you
